anyway, how do we get people to read this thing? i hope there is at least one person out there who can help.
today was another semi-productive day. thesis class, gourmet dinner made by yours truly, and now a lot of graphic design homework that i must bust my balls to finish.
THE COPS HAVE ARRIVED!
oh this is just fantastic...living on 3rd avenue is very entertaining, i get to see the city from a birds eye view and see just how crazy everyone is. and if you want to know what happened to the people in the fight, they all ran away in opposite directions. naturally.
segway: while sitting in my thesis class today
i looked around and really started to think about who was in this class, why they were here and gave at least five reasons why i didn't like any of them. art school is like an ironic idea of itself. all the kids that live in brooklyn obviously find all the clothes that dont match because theyre "ironic" and then there are the people that live in upstate who dress like abercrombie girls/boys because that is "ironic". is irony really cool? or has irony become the new expected standard? has anyone else noticed this?perhaps i am the only one who has noticed that everyone who is trying to out ironic-ize everyone else is just stupid.
photoshoot/zipcar venture this weekend so i hope to take some photos and show you guys what i do over here on the right side of the country.
on a happy note-here is the dinner i made tonight-angel hair pasta with chicken, garlic bread and green beans :)
peace and love- smitty (NYC)
