Posting blogs should be exciting for me...I really do enjoy updating my mundane life on the world wide web but sometimes everyone needs a little bit of motivation.
This all began as five girls talking about what they are going to do with their lives. We all concluded that quite honestly, we do not know. We have no idea. Then after talking about it for a while...hello, we have us and with us comes amazing talents. I take photographs, Maggie is a designer, Piera is an amazing athlete, Ali can dress like a crazy woman and is obsessed with music, and Selena has the make-up skill of a goddess. All of us together should really be called The Pentagon of Amazingness.
Speaking to my mom last night re-lit my fire. She asked if we are still doing The Paper Dolls and I said, well yes we are in fact. She reminded me why we started this in the first place. How we need a solid, strong foundation before we can move on and conquer the world.
I am going to start my focus on other people and the city around me. I am constantly surrounded by artists in (what some consider) the most amazing city in the entire world. Young people my age are as confused as I am and that is why I am doing this project.
Making our own work.
Showcasing our talents.
Supporting young people our age.
That is why Paper Dolls is here.
Who's with me?
