Rain!

So yesterday was the first day of rain in LA! I love,love,love the rain! Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it the way I would have liked to - sit in my bed with a shutter open to watch it with some tea and a movie and mý dog- I had my internship and had to drop offs again, all day in the crazy LA rain traffic; West Hollywood, Brentwood, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Culver city,Downtown, Hollywood, Santa Monica. I did get to 9 places though! I did fail on one mission went the wrong way on Wilshire for 20 minutes in traffic then had to turn around and get the other side of the 405 in Westwood on Wilshire and Barrington which took 40 minutes, making me late to the Instyle building to pick up my editors camera. I was panicing in the car and when I got to the security desk in the building and.... Well, everyone had gone for the day and I couldn't get the camera I was frustrated and panicing and almost broke down in the lobby ( I waited till I got in the car to cry and call my Mom). Thank God my editor is pretty underdstanding and her assistant Brandy could get it today since I'm not in.

I just want to be exceptional all the time so when I fall short I get really down on myself even if it is out of my control and dumb, like it was.

Note to self: learn how to deal with things that aren't your fault and cannot be changed.

Gonna have a fully functioning and fully charged laptop in 3 to 6 business days! Wooo hoo!
