Your tounge is a rudder it steers the whole ship

I saw one of my favorite bands, Brand New, play at the Palladium last night. Ash had two tickets in the VIP lounge, and we had an amazing time and view! Manchester Orchestra opened for them and they played an amazing set.I also ran into some friends, Zak and Philip. I always tell people that seeing Brand New play (for me anyway) is a religious experience. I get lost in the music and that's the only thing there is any room for in my mind.At the same time the music allows for a steady and unpolluted stream of thoughts to pass. Its better than any short lived high or the mess that comes with a night of drinking.* side note- would have loved to also (as in at the same exact time) be at the Monsters of Folk show at the Greek.

After the show Ash and I headed over to Fred62 in Los Feliz, its the best place to go for late night snackage.
I got the Mac and Cheese balls and we shared the Pumpkin Punk Tart, its a variation on a pop tart but sooo much better!

Counting down the days till Thanksgiving I can't wait to see my friends!

I wish I had more time to read books, I'm trying to pummel through the 48 laws of power as fast as I can but its a loaded read. Any suggestions?

LA love, A. Montrose
