what do you do when you graduate college? i remember thinking i would never get into college...i didn't give a shit about high school. time didnt seem to be a big deal but here i am four years later about to do whatever the hell it is im supposed to do. i think everyones biggest fear is failing. but how are you supposed to succeed if you're too scared to begin? here's to the start of a new chapter, hopefully it goes a little more smooth than the past 22 years.

Crimson and Clover

Last night Emma, Krysten and I went to Hollywood Park for opening day and then for a Joan Jett concert!
We met up with a bunch of friends and ended up being backstage with wristbands. While backstage met up with more friends. Took pictures with Joan and then... I ENDED UP ON STAGE drinking jack and coke while Joan Jett and The Black Hearts are playing!!! Shut the fuck up right now.

I am so fucking lucky. Honestly I'm still in bliss. Emma and I danced our asses off on the side of the stage and just had soo much fun! Krysten was peeing herself pretty much and got it all on film!

I'm so blessed to have the friends that I do and to have met the people I've met recently! Life is looking up world!

Mideval filth therapy for the teenagers

I am a slacker. So much and so little has been up I feel like I've got so much to share!

Last week was my moms birthday and I made her an amazing cake from my friend Michael he's from tennessee so its a southern cake called 'Humming Bird' its like a spice cake but not really its amazing I made everything from the batter to the icing from scratch! Like a grown up!
(P.s this cake is covered in pecans and I had no idea nuts cost so much!)

My family has a tradition of waking eachother up early and singing happy birthday with a pastry so I woke her up at 12 am and played a Drifters song and gave her all her gifts and cake! I bought her some cds and a shirt made of yummy fabric.

During the day we went shopping and got coffee then grabbed lunch at the Nordstrom Cafe. I bought new red lipstick and liner from M.A.C
And a necklace from FreePeople. At night our family got together and ate so much chinese food (not even kidding trays and trays and trays of catering trays)

I've also been shopping way too much even after getting raped by taxes.

Yesterday Jen and I went for a hike at Runyon Cyn with our dogs. THAT SHIT IS ALL UP HILL

I fucking died. Died. My dog pretty much died. My thighs and legs and ass burn today.
I went for my run and it hurts like ass. That fucking hill is bullshit its so intense... Still going to keep doing it once a week though ahahahah.

Today I drove to Culver City to visit my old internship and my Aunt, I love the new building its beautiful!!! I got fitted and had my specs done I might be working with them on a clothing line just helping out. I think I might start working there as a real employee not just an intern actually if everything goes well! Ahhh send good vibes!
After the fitting we went to lunch at Ford's filling station apparently its owned by Harrison Ford's son, all I know is it was tasty.

PS in about a month my life is going to be so happy and full! Danielle is coming home!

PPS. Who watches Glee? Who watched last nights episode!? Sooooo GOOD!

My rant is done

Such a fantastic weekend. Saturday Krysten and I Slept over at Emmas and watched some movies with CJ and BooBoo. Sunday we woke up late got coffee at Coffee Bean in Tolouca Lake by Em's then took Laurel to the Fairfax Flea market and shopped around for a few hours I bought a really cute dress for 5 dollars! Krysten bought a Joan Jett shirt and Emma bought soo much stuff ahah among those "stuffs" was a bunch of plates and a pitcher from -How Random- Kathy Griffin... Oh LA you never cease to surprise.

We walked Down Melrose, stopped at Urban bought some stuff there. Then headed to Beverly Hills for a hot minute. THEN we went to little tokyo and I took Em and Krys to my favorite ramen place.... Its fantastic such good ramen and excellent sashimi. Krysten got me to try this Japanese dessert made with sweet rice and red beans it was crazy, I don't think I like that, however the peanut butter filled Mocchi wasn't bad though.

Later that day I met up with some friends for hookah. Success!!!

Honestly best day in months, for the past several months I have been an anxious stress ball and all day Sunday and Saturday night (after sushi) I was so mellow and relaxed, I've needed this.

So today is my first day at work where I get a 2:30-11 shift instead of 3:00-11:30. YUP that's right I'm movin on up. score. Slowly but surely.

OH and yesterday one of my co-workers got a free bottle of beer to sample and was super excited for it. She asked me to hold it in my locker for her which of course I said yes. So when our shift was over I took it out and it fell out of my hand and smashed into pieces on the floor! I felt so bad. I would do something like that.

UGH the next 4 weeks i am not going to have any friends and will probably not know what breathing real air is like...only the circulated air in my apartment...good thing last night i went out to the beer garden is Astoria with my friends and it was SO NEEDED. never have actually gone to the beer garden before...even after living in astoria for 2 years. DUMB.

we hung out at the apartment for a while and did a power half hour (ran out of beer) with miller high life...the champagne of beer. okay listen, if you need to tell everyone your beer is AS classy and delicious as champagne, there is a 99% chance that it is nothing like champagne at all. and it's not. anyways. this morning we drove into the city.

i have to say, its an amazing view. and especially in the spring, the city is FULL of this...my all time favorite...

is anyone as excited as i am for this? any takers? the whole world should be holding their hands up in the sky right now.

on another note. 5 weeks until no more school. 7 weeks until i am a GRADUATE of college. i never thought that day would even be in my near future...it seemed SO far away. 4 years goes by very VERY fast.

excited to go home and be with the people that i love and the ones that love me back. i've had enough of the east coast, i'm a true west coast girl and am VERY VERY excited to start a new chapter in my life.
