Last weekend we were in New York for our UAA volleyball tournament where we got smacked down by NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Chicago, and Emory. Not one of our greatest moments but I was able to buy a knock-off watch! It's white and pretty :) The guy in Battery Park wanted $45 for it. I continued to look at it and said no that's too much and walked away. he followed me:
ME: 45 is too much. no thanks
-35 for the pretty lady
ME: i don't have 35
-how much do you have?
me: not enough
-$30!?
me: no.
-25?
me: no, i don't have the money.
-20? $20 for the pretty lady???
me: fine!.
so i bought it. keep in mind this was all while we were walking through battery park while it was semi-raining.
Exciting future occurrences:
-Dad, sis, carol, and dave come and visit me this thursday! coming to watch my last home tournament/game (THANK GOD)
-volleyball is 2 weeks (from yesterday) away from being over. for good.
